The kendama is a traditional Japanese skill toy. It consists of a handle with a couple of cups and a stick, and a ball that are all connected together by a string. The kendama is the Japanese version of the classic ball and cup game. Kendama can be held in different grips, and the tricks and combinations that can be done are limitless. The object of the game is to catch the ball in one of the cups, or to land the ball on the spike on the top of the handle.
